A Complicated Genocide (single) is the second digital single release from J:dead (Jay Taylor) under Infacted Recordings. The single release holds the original title from from the Album launched in Jan 2021, but also hosts a remix by ES23 (Infacted Recordings) and a featuring track from Auger which contains 2nd vocals from Kyle Wilson (Auger).The two bonus tracks were only previously available via the physical release of the album.

The single is released alongside a full length music video directed and recorded by Mark Wickson of Mondo Cheapo who also worked with J:dead on their last single video (Feeding on me), which reached number 4 in both the GEWC and DAC. The video is a visual adaptation to the song as well as the theme of the album; being that we all wish to rid ourselves of certain emotions, yet these emotions make us who we are.

The single and video are released on the 9/07/2021

J:dead are currently in the process of finalising their next EP “Vision of time” with the release due later on this year.

The love of my life wore a solid gray dress the first time we met, and the image came stark and clear listening to this song. We fought about shades of gray between black and white, and without a doubt she changed me in a way portrayed perfectly by these lyrics.
