xotox wurde 1998 von Andreas Davids ins Leben gerufen und spätestens seit dem 2003er Album „Lichtlos“ und dem darauf enthaltenen Überhit „Eisenkiller“ hat sich sein Sound nahezu weltweit etabliert. „Extended“ spannt den Bogen über die gesamte Entwicklung des Projekts, den rauhen Sound von „Lichtlos“ und „Die Unruhe“, die harten Beats der „[PSI]“, die musikalische Endzeitstimmung von „In den zehn Morgen“, die brachialen Soundgewitter von „Schwanengesang“, den apokalyptischen Weltuntergang von „Silent Shout“, und holen Konzertatmosphäre mit teils exklusiven und unveröffentlichten Mitschnitten nach Hause.
„Lichtlos“ enthält die komplette „Eisenkiller-EP“ und ein Livekonzert im Kassblanca in Jena aus dem Jahr 2001, „Die Unruhe“ kommt mit sämtlichen Remixen und den Bonus-Tracks von „Die Unruhe 2.0“, „[PSI]“ bietet die Bonus-CD und einen Livemitschnitt vom 2007er Konzert im Karnat in Lissabon. „In den zehn Morgen“ enthält die Bonus-CD „Early Recordings 1999 – 2002“ und ein Konzert vom Kinetik-Festival in Montreal aus dem Jahr 2008. „Schwanengesang“ kommt mit Bonus-CD und exklusiv dem bisher nur auf Vinyl erhältlichen Add-on „Redux“. „Silent Shout“ bietet einen Mitschnitt aus dem Jahr 2019 im legendären Slimelight in London.

thank you! legendary early Frontline Assembly side project, that I have purchased many times in many formats over the years. This one goes back to the early WaxTrax! label days.. I never got into the newer industrial as much, as I just prefer the more primitive era..I wish FLA bandcamp page had the WaxTrax! era albums there too.."Caustic Grip", "Gashed Senses..." "Disorder", "Corrosion", etc.. legendary!! Cyberaktif, Delerium as well..
