Mit Album Veröffentlichungen wie „Resurrected“ und „At The End Of Your World“ haben „Frame Of Mind“ vor gut 3 Jahren den Schritt zurück in die Öffentlichkeit gewagt. Die ehemalige Zoth Ommog Band hat es geschafft, mit einer Art elektronischer Endzeit Romantik, das Aufsehen auf sich zu ziehen. Düstere, wenn auch melodische Elektronik mit tiergehenden Texten, haben sich zum Markenzeichen von „Frame Of Mind“ entwickelt. Auch das neue Album „Return From The World’s End“ knüpft nahtlos an den eingeschlagenen Weg an. Gleich der Opener „Home“, der in Zusammenarbeit mit „Pyrroline“ entstanden ist, veranschaulicht diese Tiefe, die Bedrohlichkeit und den gekonnten Umgang mit tragender, melodiöser Elektronik, der stellenweise and Künstler wie Delirium oder Massive Attack erinnert. Generell kann die Band die Nähe zu „alten Helden“ wie Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly oder frühe In Strict Confidence schwer verleugnen, bleibt dabei aber immer modern und eigenständig. Einer der Highlights des Album ist sicherlich auch „Erode“ das bereits vorab, digital, als Single ausgekoppelt wurde. 11 neue Songs die den geneigten Hörer auf eine elektronische Reise weitab des Normalen nehmen. Besonderen Augenmerk sollte man, neben der Musik, beim neuen Album auch auf das wieder einmal extrem gelungene Coverartowrk legen. Die physische Version von „Return From The World’s End“ erscheint im limitierten Digi-Pak.

With their album releases „Resurrected“ and „At The End Of Your World“, „Frame Of Mind“ returned some three years back to the international music scene. The former Zoth Ommog recordings artist managed to create a sort of electronic end time romantic. Dark, atmospheric deep but always melodic has become the trademark of „Frame Of Mind“. The new album „Return From The World’s End“ continues this musical path. Already the opening track „Home“ which was created together with the band „Pyrroline“ illustrates this threatening scenario and reminds the listener with bands such as Delirium or even Massive Attack. For sure the band can not conceal the musical proximity to old scene heroes such as Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly or early In Strict Confidence. One of the many highlights on the new album for suer is „Erode“ which was already released digital as the first single taken off the album. Eleven new electronic highlights far away from what you know, when it comes to electronic music. Besides the new music also the cover artwork, which comes physical as a nice digi-pak is once more breathtaking.
