Nachdem sich die Band SYNTEC 2017 aufgelöst hatte, war für den musikalischen Kopf Uwe Kallenbach klar, dass es mit der Musik weitgehen soll. Nach einer kurzen Schaffenspause begann er 2018 damit, neue Songs für sein Soloprojekt NUQUATRON zu schreiben. Neben Komposition und Produktion zeichnet sich Kallenbach nun auch verantwortlich für die Texte.
In einem Zeitraum von 5 Jahren entstand mit 11 Songs ein komplettes Album. Die Kombination von klaren Synthesizerstrukturen und harmoniegetragenen Klanggebilden lassen unweigerlich ein Weiterleben des SYNTEC-Sounds erkennen, wobei Kallenbachs Stimmfarbe zeigt, dass etwas Neues entstanden ist. Für zwei Songs konnte Bastian Herrmann als Gastsänger gewonnen werden, der mit seinem Gesang eine weitere Bereicherung für das Album darstellt.
Die deutschen und englischen Texte behandeln Themen aus der Gesellschaft und dem vielschichtigen Bereich zwischenmenschlicher Konfliktsituationen. Liebeslieder sucht man hier vergebens.
After the split up of German synth-pop/electro band SYNTEC in 2017, musical leader Uwe Kallenbach did decide to continue producing music. In 2018 his solo band NUQUATRON was initiated. Besides composition and production, Uwe also started to write his very personal lyrics.
Within five years he produced 11 songs for his first full album. A combination of synthesizer structures and harmonic melodies surely continue the feel of former SYNTEC productions. With Bastian Herrmann he could also get a guest vocalist for two songs of the album.
The lyrics are a mix of German and English which deal with topics from society and the complex area of interpersonal conflict situations.
